This Site Sniper Pro Review will explain how it can automate the process of locating websites which display Adsense ads and rank high for the keywords you target. Site Sniper Pro is a software tool based on an excellent resource for an Advanced Google AdWords technique called AdWords180.
First, why do you want to locate such websites?
These websites, or rather web pages, are great candidates to place your ads
in. You want your Adwords' ads display in the Adsense block on these pages,
since it could potentially be much cheaper to acquire compare to the normal
pay-per-click sponsored search result on "the right-hand side" of Google.
Having your Adwords ads listed in the Adsense blocks of other websites is
also known as Adwords "site targeting". It is done by creating a
site-targeted adwords campaign, which allow you to specify a targeted list
of web page URLs. These site-targeted ads will only be displayed in those
pages and you pay Google based on "per impression" instead of "per click".
Site-Target Campaigns, The Challenge.
With site-targeted campaigns, you'll be specifying an amount to bid per 1000
impressions (aka. CPM), this amount is spent regardless of any
click-throughs. The minimum CPM bid is $0.25 and depending on the
competition to be listed in that website, this can easily range in upwards
of $1.00 before Google will serve your ads in it.
This is akin to paying for banner advertisement, which is more common in the
past.
Now, what affects the click-through-rate (CTR) of these ads? Other than the
ad copy, the positioning of these Adsense blocks (think "banner") on the web
page contributes to a significant part of the equation. That's why banner
ads found at the top of the web pages usually cost a lot more than if it's
positioned in the side panel or footer.
With Adsense blocks, the same principle applies. However, Google does not
differentiate the cost based on where the publishers places their Adsense
codes - you pay the same CPM whether it's located in a prominent spot of the
web page (aka "hot spots") or tuck away at the footer. The impression count
will accumulate per page view, and so is the cost you pay.
Without much thoughts or careful selection of sites to display these ads,
you'll be wasting a lot of money on lousy ads position. That's one main
reason why many Adwords advertiser avoided site-targeted adwords campaigns
even if they know it exist.
Therefore, competitions in these Adsense ads spots are low. And that's
precisely why methods described in
Adwords 180 allow you to
get clicks cheaper than 1cts.
